BIHAR ELEMENTARY TEACHER ELIGIBILITY TEST (BETET) 2011

As announcement of SCERT, Bihar candidates have to qualify  Bihar Elementary Teacher Eligibility Test (BETET) to be a teacher of class I to VIII.  So Applications are being invited from eligible and interested candidates for appearing in Bihar Elementary Teacher Eligibility Test (BETET). Details are as follow:

Important dates:

Application form will be available: From 25^th May 2011 to 6^th June 2011

Last date for submitting applications: 10^th June 2011

Date of written examination: 17^th July 2011

Eligibility Criteria

Age limit (as on 17^th July 2011):

For General category male and female candidates � between 18 to 37 yrs

For BC / BC Female / OBC � between 18 to 40 yrs

For SC / ST candidates � between 18 to 42 yrs

Note - Relaxation in maximum age limit will be given to trained candidates of every category by 05 yrs.

Required educational qualifications:

For being a teacher of class I-V:

i)   Intermediate or its equivalent  with minimum 50% marks.

ii)  Having certificate of 02 yrs diploma in education / 04 yrs education graduate / 02 yrs diploma or D.Eid in education from recognized distance education.

OR

The candidates of Bihar, Intermediate / 10+2 or its equivalent examinations with minimum 50% marks. But the candidate must pass 02 yrs of diploma examination in education within 05 years after appointment.

OR

Intermediate or its equivalent  with minimum 45% marks and having 02 yrs diploma / D.Eid certificate in education from National Council of Teacher Education (NCTE)

For being a teacher of class VI-VIII:

i)  Graduate in any discipline or its equivalent.

ii)  Having certificate of 02 yrs diploma in education / 04 yrs education graduate / 02 yrs diploma or D.Eid in education from recognized distance education.

OR

The candidates must have Bachelor Degree in any discipline with minimum 50% marks and 01 year B.Eid in Education or 02 yrs education graduate from recognized distance education.

OR

For The candidates of Bihar,  Graduation in any discipline or its equivalent with minimum 50% marks. But the candidate must pass 02 yrs of diploma examination in education within05 years after appointment.

Application fee: Rs. 100/- for Gen / BC / EBC / OBC Female and Rs. 50/- for SC / ST / PH candidates.

Mode of payment: The candidate should pay application fee through Bank Draft which is issued by any nationalized bank in favour of Director, State Council of Education Research and Training, Bihar at patna.

How to apply:

i) The candidates can obtain application form  from DEO office.

iii)  No any documents should be attached with application form.

iv)  Complete application form will be submitted hand-to-hand in DEO Office, from where  the candidate has obtained the application form.
